Bexley Poseidon Tortoise Fountain Pen
The Poseidon series, released in May of 2007, revisits a favorite color in the Bexley line.
The tortoise color has resonance with the past. Many nitrocellulose pens and other early plastic products of the 1920's had this combination of muted browns and transparency.

Now, made of the much more stable acrylic resin material, the Tortoise has the advantages of a modern pen but the look and feel of one from our grandparent's day. The gold plated bands and clip reinforce this perception. There is just enough transparency here to offer a hint of what is inside, but not so much that we are overpowered by a "demonstrator" character.

The Poseidon accepts either international cartridges (such as Pelikan cartridges, which we carry) or can be filled with the supplied converter. For this reason it is good for travel or use at home.

Each of the 18K two-tone top grade German made Bock nibs is hand set by Howard Levy. And of course, we test write each pen with ink on paper and adjust them to the specifications that you prescribe.

We offer a variety of point sizes: Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub. The Stub is particularly well suited to our cursive italic customization with writing widths anywhere up to 1.2 mm.(This is wider than the equivalent of a Pelikan double broad point.)
