The popular Bexley Owners Club limited edition series is back in 2010. In observance of the company's seventeenth anniversary, there are 117 numbered fountain pens in black, and 117 in orange.

The Bexley Owners Club pens are produced at the company factory in Columbus, Ohio. Master craftsmen make each pen individually. If you are the original owner of a Bexley pen, and have registered that pen with the Bexley Pen Company, you will have received a postcard with an unlock code. This gives you access to documents that allow you to order a 2010 Bexley Owners Club pen. Just send us your Bexley certificate with your order.

If you are not yet the owner of a Bexley, a small number of pens from this limited edition series may still be available in February. Contact us then to arrange for purchase.

The unique substance used for the body of these pens is called G-10. It has multiple layers of laminated fiberglass that have been impregnated with epoxy resins. The result is a highly stable, durable material that is often used as a substrate for printed circuit boards.

The G-10 material is used for the caps, barrels, and grip sections of the 2010 Bexley Owners Club pen. The surface has a checked pattern reminiscent of carbon fiber, but with a more subtle effect. The color and pattern go all the way through the material, contributing to its depth of tone and durability. It is polished to a smooth semi-gloss finish. The tactile feel of the G-10 is warm and inviting to the hand. This the first use of this material that we know of for fountain pens. When the cap screws into the barrel, one can feel the texture of the G-10, a satisfying light resistance to the twist.

Each pen has a Special "violin" style pocket clip in 23 carat gold over 900/1000 silver alloy. This metal is alloyed for strength. These clips are hand made by a master jeweler in Chicago. The orange pen is available in either gold trim or silver. You specify when placing your order.

The 2010 Owners Club fountain pen is available with Bexley 18K two-tone nibs in Fine, Medium, Broad, or Stub. These nibs are suitable for our customizations to cursive italic, stub and oblique writing tips.
